There is Another Agreement with Azerbaijan Regarding the Davit Bek-Goris Road Segment: Avinyan
Armenia and Azerbaijan, aside from the announcements made on November 10 and January 11, do they have any signed documents without the mediation of Russia? This was the question posed by LHK MP Karen Simonian during the question and answer session with the Prime Minister.
In response to the MP's inquiry, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan stated that such questions would not be discussed publicly and urged representatives of the relevant authorities to gather and discuss the matter in committee formats. The MP clarified that the existence of a contract cannot be kept secret, to which Avinyan replied, “I am not aware of any documents without Russia's mediation. Moreover, aside from the statements that have been made and the documents that have been presented, there is another agreement concerning the Davit Bek-Goris road segment, as the road passed through disputable sections; this is the only agreement I am aware of,” Avinyan responded.
It is worth mentioning that former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan had made a statement claiming that Nikol Pashinyan had signed a secret agreement regarding the roads in Syunik.
