Armenian MP Aren Mkrtchyan Visits Five Returnees from Captivity
Armenian MP Aren Mkrtchyan has visited five young men who were recently returned from captivity. Mkrtchyan shared this news on his Facebook page.
“I just visited our five boys who returned from captivity yesterday. Their health condition is good, and they are under proper medical supervision. Among them is Arayik Galstyan from the village of Akhori in the Lori Province. More than 70 days ago, I visited Arayik's home and have been in contact with his mother, Mrs. Anichka,” he wrote.
“During this time, I have met with Deputy Prime Minister Avinyan multiple times. The government has done extensive work. Artak Zeynalyan has also accomplished tremendous efforts.
The issue of the captives is of utmost importance, and I consider it despicable to exploit this issue for various political purposes. There cannot be any more important problem. The government is making every effort to bring our detained servicemen, volunteers, and civilians back home. Patience is required from all of us,” he added in his post.
