The Connection Between Church and State Will Remain Strong and Unbreakable: Araik Harutyunyan

Today, I participated in the first ceremonial divine liturgy conducted by the Archbishop of Artsakh, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, at the Mother Cathedral of St. Mary in Stepanakert. During the ceremony, the encyclical of His Holiness Garegin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, regarding Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan's new appointment was read. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page, alongside a video of the event.

“Wishing Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan success in his diocesan activities, I want to emphasize that the connection between the church and the state will remain strong and unbreakable. Taking this opportunity, I once again express my gratitude to Bishop Pargev. May the Lord protect us all,” he wrote.
