Jambarak Police Uncover Illegal Drug Trafficking Case

On February 4, Jambarak criminal investigators acted on operational data regarding illegal drug trafficking and apprehended a young man on Garegin Nzhdeh Street in Jambarak.

During a personal search, a substance resembling crushed and dried marijuana weighing several grams was discovered. According to the apprehended individual, the substance is indeed a drug. An examination has been appointed. The circumstances are being clarified.

Note: The individual suspected or accused of a crime is considered innocent until proven guilty under the procedural code of the Republic of Armenia, by a court verdict that has entered into legal force.
