Germany, Sweden, and Poland Expel One Russian Diplomat Each
Germany, Poland, and Sweden have expelled Russian diplomats in response to Russia declaring their staff at consulates in St. Petersburg as 'undesirable persons' or 'persona non grata'. This was reported by RIA Novosti. A staff member from the Russian consulate in Poznań was expelled from Poland, while a diplomat was sent away from Sweden's embassy. Germany has also expelled one Russian diplomat.
Russia has condemned the expulsion of its diplomats as an unfounded action. It is worth noting that just days ago, Russia expelled staff members from the consulates of Sweden, Poland, and Germany.
