VIDEO: A Manatee Found Sleeping in a Car Engine in Moscow

A rescue operation that lasted all night at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport has concluded. Rescuers were attempting to remove a manatee that had taken refuge in the engine compartment of a car.

The Delimobil car-sharing service will take care of the fate of the manatee, which has been named Delik. Ulyana Smolskaya, the PR director of the company, informed RIA Novosti.

“The manatee has now been extracted from the car's hood and is being transported to a clinic. We will manage its fate as long as it is with us,” Smolskaya said.
