VIDEO: 18-Year-Old Taken Into Custody from ‘Zoravar Andranik’ Station Lobby

On February 1, officers from the police department of Yerevan’s Metro named after Karen Demirchyan took an 18-year-old resident of the village of Hayanist in the Ararat region into custody on suspicion of carrying a cold weapon from the lobby of the ‘Zoravar Andranik’ station.

During a personal search of the suspect, an iron baton and 5.45 mm caliber bullets for a pistol were found. A forensic examination has been appointed, and the circumstances are being clarified. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
