Tension at Abovyan School #1: Police Guarding Principal's Office

Tension has returned to Abovyan School #1, where students and teachers are staging a protest against the newly appointed principal, Karmile Arakelyan, reports news.am.

Teachers have initiated a boycott, stating that if Arakelyan remains as principal, no teacher will work with her. Students have joined the teachers' protest, chanting the name of the former principal and demanding that there be no changes in the school's administration.

Protesters are shouting phrases such as "leave" and "puppet, get out." Currently, police officers are present at the school, having closed off the corridors leading to the principal's office from both sides and preventing students from approaching.
