Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonian and the Russian trade representative in Armenia, Anna Donchenko, also participated in the meeting.

“Armenia’s cooperation with Russia is developing favorably, but there is potential to deepen it further. Currently, we plan to develop a multifaceted agenda for cooperation with Russia and I hope it will contribute to strengthening economic ties between our countries,” said Kerobyan while welcoming the guests.

Ambassador Sergei Kopirkin emphasized that the economy is one of the leading areas of bilateral cooperation and that it is time to think about strengthening and activating economic ties between the two countries, which will be facilitated by attracting new investments.

Agreeing with the ambassador, Kerobyan highlighted the importance of creating funding infrastructures for businesses in Armenia. The parties then discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-Russian economic cooperation that are of mutual interest.
