VIDEO: Archbishop Parghev Introduces New Leader of Artsakh Diocese

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, received the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, and the Papal Delegate, His Grace Archbishop Parghev Martirosyan, on February 3.

The President expressed gratitude to Archbishop Parghev Martirosyan for his decades-long selfless service in Artsakh and for being alongside the people during critical moments, emphasizing the importance of his contributions to the development of the Homeland and the preservation of spiritual values.

According to Arayik Harutyunyan, Archbishop Parghev has always been and will remain a symbol of the heroic pages of Artsakh and its history for all generations, expressing hope that he will always hold a special place in the heart, prayers, and deeds of the Holy Father.

The country’s leader congratulated Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan on being appointed as the new leader of the Artsakh Diocese, expressing confidence that in this difficult period for the Armenian people, the diocesan leader will greatly contribute to the collective efforts and the strengthening of the people's faith.
