PHOTOGRAPHY. Nature's Latest Marvel: Sea Waves 'Recreate' Poseidon
In France, during a storm, sea waves have recreated the image of Poseidon, the god of the sea in ancient Greek mythology, reports the Daily Mail.
Photographer Matthieu Rivrin's impressive shot, captured near his home in the commune of Lesconil, depicts the face of Poseidon, adorned with a crown.
According to the photographer, the waves, driven by the 'Justine' storm raging off the northwestern coast of France, were more than 10 meters high.
“While taking photos, I saw the incredible image of Poseidon rising from the waves,” the photographer stated, noting that he aims to showcase the “beauty and splendor” created by the sea waves.
