Ioannisyan's 'Arguments' Are Ridiculous: Anyone Who Greets Him Must Sever All Ties with Me

Ruben Melikyan, co-founder of the human rights organization 'Legal Way', has made a Facebook post addressing the statement by Daniel Ioannisyan, program coordinator of the 'Informed Citizens' NGO regarding 'Legal Way'. The post states:

“Under the guise of a human rights advocate, the individual who has long been undermining the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh with foreign and possibly hostile funding, Daniel Ioannisyan, has apparently been commissioned to discredit the activities of the 'Legal Way' human rights organization.

In this regard, I declare: 1) The 'arguments' brought by Ioannisyan are ridiculous, as 'Legal Way' has consistently raised and will continue to raise issues regarding the violations committed by the Pashinyan regime against all political opposition. In this sense, it is not surprising that any opposition force and its supporters would have a positive attitude towards 'Legal Way'. 2) At the same time, 'Legal Way' has provided and continues to provide legal support to hundreds of citizens on various issues, many of whose political views are even unknown to us. 3) Complete information about our funding is available to the Pashinyan government. We self-finance through private law practice and also receive individual donations from those who value our activities for the benefit of Armenia; however, the individuals mentioned by Ioannisyan among our donors are absent. 4) By diligently supporting the person who has treacherously surrendered his ancestral city of Shushi as well as hundreds of other places in Artsakh to the enemy, Ioannisyan effectively places himself among the cursed ranks of those with no salutation. Anyone who collaborates or even greets him henceforth should sever all ties with me.”
