Chief of General Staff Onik Gasparyan Visits 1st and 4th Military Units

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan, made a working visit to the 1st and 4th military units on February 3, as reported by the Ministry of Defense press service.

He was accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff's Department of Military Readiness, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Andranik Makaryan.

Meetings and discussions were held in the military units with the participation of the commanders of subordinate units, their deputies, battalion commanders, heads of military branches, and services. Current issues, the border situation, combat preparedness, and the organization of readiness processes were discussed.

The Chief of the General Staff outlined the main issues that require urgent solutions and gave appropriate instructions for further enhancing the effectiveness of service. Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan emphasized the need to pay close attention to the morale and psychological condition of the personnel.
