Azerbaijani troops have not entered Nerkin Khnzoresk; border clarification ongoing, village head says

Azerbaijani troops have not entered the village of Nerkin Khnzoresk in the Syunik region. This announcement was made by village head Ervand Malunts on the official Facebook page of the village municipality.

According to him, in recent days, work has been underway to clarify and specify the state border. The village head emphasized that the process is proceeding peacefully. The border is being clarified here using GPS technology.

“I officially announce, in response to the warnings and the awareness of the fake news outlets rampant on social networks, that no Azerbaijani troops have entered Nerkin Khnzoresk. Do not engage in spreading misinformation and do not attempt to create artificial panic; the residents of Nerkin Khnzoresk have never fallen into panic. Don’t strain yourselves and your imagination too much,” wrote the village head.

He also noted that the residents of Nerkin Khnzoresk are currently conducting night watch duties to monitor the border alongside soldiers.
