Armenian Prime Minister's Delegation Arrives in Kazakhstan
The delegation led by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in Kazakhstan to participate in the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting scheduled for February 5.
According to reports from Almaty by Armenpress, the delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Armen Ghazaryan, Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan, Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Ashot Muradyan, and others.
Since January 1, 2021, the Republic of Kazakhstan has assumed the presidency in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Eurasian Economic Union is an international organization for regional economic integration, endowed with international legal personality and established based on the treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
On September 3, 2013, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, announced the decision of the Republic of Armenia to join the Customs Union and take the necessary practical steps to participate in the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
