Coronavirus Detected on Poultry Imported from Russia in China
Chinese authorities have found genetic material of the coronavirus on the packaging of poultry imported from Russia’s Cherkizovo company, according to RIA Novosti, citing the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.
According to the agency, the genome of the coronavirus was detected by the authorities in China's Guangdong province on February 3. Thirteen batches of poultry branded under Cherkizovo were reported to be infected.
