What Are the Opposition Leaders Discussing? New Details
It has already been reported that a meeting is ongoing among the leaders of six opposition parties. The meeting is also attended by former presidents Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan.
Irakanum.am has learned that this is not the first time the six leaders have met in this format. Kocharian, Sargsyan, Tsarukyan, Vanetsyan, Saghatelyan, and Manukyan have held meetings since the end of the military operations.
The next meeting has been decided to take place before Kocharian's trip to Moscow; however, as we learned, the opposition leaders will not conduct discussions about their upcoming steps and actions while addressing domestic political issues during the meeting.
There is no final decision regarding participation in snap elections. For the Republican Party of Armenia, as previously stated, they will not participate in elections under Nikol Pashinyan's government, and they continue to hold the same view. Kocharian reiterated the points made in his last interview.
As for the other parties, they have a clear decision to resume rallies and protest actions. For now, Vazgen Manukyan will continue to lead the Homeland Salvation Front. The question of his replacement is not on the agenda.
