Ryanair Predicts Return to Beach Holidays This Summer

The CEO of Ryanair predicts that this summer will see a return to European beach holidays thanks to the COVID-19 vaccination program. This was reported by BBC.

The Ryanair chief expressed hope that travel restrictions would be lifted following the vaccination of at-risk groups. “We believe that once those in at-risk groups, including the elderly and healthcare workers, are vaccinated, travel restrictions will be removed. Thus, we expect to see British families returning to the beaches of Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece under relatively safe conditions,” he noted.

The company’s annual losses could reach €1 billion by the end of March 2021. Last month, EasyJet announced that summer bookings had increased by 250%.
