Armenia Airlines to Compensate Affected Passengers
As previously mentioned, the situation at Zvartnots International Airport was quite tense, but at this time, more details have emerged. A group of people was protesting at the airport due to a software issue that prevented them from boarding their flights.
Earlier, Gevorg Khachatryan, the deputy director of Armenia Airlines, approached the group and announced that, as an exception, only today’s affected passengers would be allowed to fly to Moscow at the airline's expense, unlike on other days.
The issue arose from the fact that there are only two companies at which, after undergoing testing, the software would accept the QR code. Regarding the laboratories, AuroraNews contacted the airport's press spokesperson, who stated that the airport is not associated with the mentioned laboratories and only provides space for their operations.
