On the Morning of January 21, Roads Will Be Covered with Black Ice: Surenyan
Due to a sharp drop in temperature, all roads will be covered with black ice during the upcoming night and on the morning of January 21, wrote Gagik Surenyan, the deputy director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, on his Facebook page.
“Dear compatriots, especially drivers, due to a sharp decrease in temperature, all roads will be covered with black ice during the upcoming night and in the morning. Please be extra cautious,” Surenyan stated.
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, snow is expected in some regions during the day on January 20 and in the southern regions on the night of January 21. No precipitation is expected during the day on January 21, and from January 22-25. The wind will be from the northwest at a speed of 5-8 m/s. The temperature will gradually decrease at night on January 21-22 by 14-16 degrees and during the day by 3-4 degrees.
