Traffic Jam of Trucks Due to Black Ice on Geghadzor-Tsilkar Highway

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 21:10, there are closed roads throughout the Republic of Armenia. The roads from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and to the Kari Lake are closed in the Aragatsotn region. The Vardenyats Pass is closed only for trucks with trailers.

Due to black ice, traffic jams of trucks have formed on the Geghadzor-Tsilkar highway in the Aragatsotn region. In the Gegharkunik region, there is black ice present on the Martuni-Jambarak-Vardenis highway, at the beginning of the tunnel in Stepanavan city in the Lori region, and in the Sisian-Zanger section of the Syunik region.
