Agreements Reached Between the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia in Moscow

The first meeting of the deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia has concluded in Moscow. According to TASS agency, members of the trilateral working group on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue have decided to establish expert subgroups.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk informed the agency that these subgroups will focus on the implementation of transportation, ensuring their security, as well as various types of oversight.

According to the report, the parties plan to create the following expert subgroups:

  • on railway, automotive, and combined transport;
  • on ensuring transport, including security, border, customs, sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary, and other types of oversight.

The formation of these subgroups is to be completed by February 2. It should be noted that the agreement to create the trilateral working group with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan was reached on January 11 during a trilateral meeting of the leaders of the three countries in Moscow.
