Keep My Visit Secret: Haykakan Zhamanak

The opposition faction of the Homeland Salvation Movement has decided not to announce the itinerary of their unified candidate, Vazgen Manukyan, in advance. This is to prevent the authorities from preparing for it early and sending security forces to the meeting locations, as was the case in Gyumri.

In Ararat, during a recent visit, local authorities became aware of Manukyan's appearance only at the last minute and could barely send a few individuals to confront him. However, the supporters of the opposition representative were so numerous that the 'provocateurs' only dared to chant 'Nikol, prime minister' from a distance, without resorting to any disruptive actions.

Incidentally, the organization of Manukyan’s visit was supported by former MP Araik Grigoryan from the Republican Party of Armenia.
