Another Azerbaijani Detonates Mine

Another Azerbaijani has detonated a mine in the areas of Artsakh that are under Azerbaijani control. The information was reported by Sputnik Azerbaijan.

It is said that 37-year-old sapper Elmadin Tofig oglu Mirzaev was injured as a result of the explosion of an anti-tank mine while attempting to deactivate it. He has been transferred to the central hospital in Aghdam, where he underwent surgery, and his condition is assessed as seriously stable. Mirzaev's leg has been amputated. He has suffered multiple shrapnel injuries.

It is worth noting that on January 21, a serviceman named Rashad Javadov detonated a mine in the Fizuli region. Earlier, during road construction works, 41-year-old Aliyar Ojagverdiyev detonated a mine, and Major Mukhtarov Sarkhan Ilgar oglu died as a result of an explosion in Kubatlu. On January 1, another Azerbaijani detonated a mine in the Fizuli region, resulting in the amputation of both of his legs. On December 14, 2020, an explosion in Aghdam resulted in one Azerbaijani death and two others injured.
