59 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia, 5 New Deaths

As of January 29, a total of 59 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the overall number of infected individuals to 166,728. The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health reports that in the past day, 2 citizens have died due to coronavirus, increasing the death toll to 3,069.

Additionally, there were 3 cases of patients infected with coronavirus who died from other illnesses reported in the same period. As of January 29, the total number of these death cases is 765.

In total, 5 deaths were recorded in one day, raising the overall number of fatalities to 3,834. On the other hand, 265 individuals have recovered from the virus in the past day, making the total number of recoveries 156,910. Currently, there are 5,984 active cases, a decrease of 211 compared to the previous day.

A total of 1,190 tests were conducted in one day, contributing to the overall total of 644,796 tests performed to date.
