Discussion on Restoration of Transportation Infrastructure Scheduled for January 30
The tripartite working group on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue will discuss the restoration of transportation infrastructure in the region on January 30. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk to TASS.
“The topics have been determined in the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. First and foremost, we will discuss the issues of development and restoration of transportation infrastructure,” he said.
Overchuk had difficulties in responding to how often meetings at the deputy prime minister level would take place and whether they would always be held in Moscow. “For now, nothing can be said, we are meeting for the first time; how it proceeds will determine future meetings,” added the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
As previously reported, the tripartite working group will meet in Moscow on January 30 to discuss the unblocking of economic and transportation links in Nagorno-Karabakh.
