242 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Armenia, 592 Citizens Recovered

As of January 28 at 11:00 AM, 242 new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia, with 592 citizens having recovered, and 11 fatalities reported. A total of 1,980 tests were conducted in one day, bringing the total number of tests conducted to 643,606.

The overall number of confirmed coronavirus cases is 166,669, of which 156,645 have recovered, and 3,067 resulted in death. Currently, 6,195 patients are receiving active treatment for the coronavirus.

On the previous day, one death was recorded in a patient who had contracted the coronavirus; however, the death was due to another underlying health condition. The total number of such cases is now 762.
