VIDEO: How a Frozen Dog Was Rescued
Residents of the Churapcha village in the Yakutia region have rescued a frozen dog. Abnormal cold temperatures have persisted in the area for the third week, with yesterday's temperature reaching as low as minus 54 degrees Celsius.
The dog was found lying under the hospital building, whimpering loudly. One of the men who saved the animal, Terenti Tomsk, wrote on Instagram that the dog suffered the most from its front paw, but fortunately, there was no severe frostbite.
Veterinarians examined the dog, administered injections, and bandaged its paw. The dog's owner has not been found, so it has been given shelter at the home of Terenti's colleague.
