Our aquatic pearl, Lake Sevan, has been photographed from space. The author of the photo is Russian astronaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, who described the lake as "a unique natural object that serves not only as a resort for tens of thousands of people but also as an important source of freshwater vital for the sustainability of the South Caucasus." This was reported by the Space Facebook page.
