New Statement from the Ministry of Defense on Border Situation

On January 25 and 26, no border incidents were recorded along the entire length of the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line at the state border of the Republic of Armenia, and a stable operational situation has been maintained.

According to information from the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, no incidents have been reported in the section of the Goris-Kapan interstate highway between Vorotan and David Bek, which is under the responsibility of the border guards of the NSS.

The armed forces of the Republic of Armenia and the border guard units of the NSS are monitoring the border situation along the entire border and are carrying out their assigned tasks.
