Azerbaijani Side Transfers Remains of 1 Soldier: Artsakh Emergency Services
The Azerbaijani side has transferred the remains of one serviceman to the Armenian side. This was reported today, January 26, by Hunan Tadevosyan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"The Azerbaijani side has transferred one set of remains from Mataghis. His identity was confirmed through a driver's license. He is Ashot Levoni Khachatryan, born in 1993, and participated in the war as a reservist. The remains of three other servicemen were discovered during search operations in Jabrail," noted Hunan Tadevosyan.
Today, two teams are conducting search operations in Hadrut. According to Hunan Tadevosyan, a total of 1,287 sets of remains have been identified so far.
