Armen Sarkissian Remains Under Medical Supervision

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, continues his treatment at home. This information has been reported by the President's press service. It is noted that Armen Sarkissian has contracted the new type of coronavirus.

It is reported that the President's condition has relatively improved, with a positive dynamic in his health status; however, he is still under the supervision of medical professionals.

As soon as he receives permission from the doctors, President Sarkissian will return to Yerevan. The President continues to work remotely, fulfilling his constitutional duties.

It should be reminded that on January 5, it became known that Sarkissian, who was in London, had tested positive for the coronavirus, which has been complicated and symptomatic in nature. The President had isolated himself and was receiving treatment at home under the supervision of doctors while working remotely. On January 13, it was announced that he had been hospitalized.
