Arayik Harutyunyan Introduces Minister Karen Sargsyan to the Staff of the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, visited the newly established Ministry of Internal Affairs on January 26 and introduced Minister Karen Grigori Sargsyan to the staff. This was reported by the Press Office of the President of the Republic of Artsakh.
The country’s leader expressed gratitude to the employees of the ministry, including those in the State Emergency Service and the police, for their excellent service during the challenging wartime period, emphasizing that these bodies also have important functions to perform in peaceful conditions.
According to the President, the professional and social issues of the agency's employees will always be under the government’s attention to ensure favorable conditions for the proper execution of their duties.
During the meeting, the President also addressed the post-war situation and recovery efforts, stressing that Artsakh has a difficult and long road ahead for the country's recovery and strengthening, a country where all Artsakh residents will see a future for living and creating.
Regarding the status of the Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan emphasized that despite difficult conditions, we will continue the struggle for the international recognition of the independence of the Republic of Artsakh, and any status within Azerbaijan is simply impossible and unacceptable.
