Aliyev Reveals Factors Contributing to Azerbaijan's Victory

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has stated that the use of satellites played a significant role in Azerbaijan's territorial victory during the recent conflict in Artsakh. This was reported by minval.az.

“Of course, speaking about the work done in the field of technological development, I must mention satellites. As the person responsible for this sector, you are well aware of all this work. When we launched the satellites into orbit, some questioned their necessity. But life has shown that we really needed them. The use of satellites has provided us with a substantial advantage both during the war and after it. Our communication satellites, as well as those that monitor the Earth's surface, enable us to accomplish all assigned tasks. During the war, monitoring the opponent's movements online and preventing their provocations certainly gave us an additional advantage,” said Aliyev, addressing the newly appointed Minister of Transport, Communications, and High Technologies, Rashad Nabiyev, in a video conference format.

The President of Azerbaijan added that satellites are also crucial for ongoing programs related to reconstruction efforts after the war.
