We Should Throw the Talkers into the Zoo's Donkeys' Cage: Mayor Marutyan on Resignation Rumors

David Khajakyan, leader of the "Light" faction in the Yerevan Council, wrote on his Facebook page: "Today, the Mayor Marutyan returned to work from vacation and personally led a procedural meeting. In response to discussions circulated by members of the 'My Step' faction and several representatives of the government regarding Marutyan's potential resignation, he remarked: 'We should throw those who are talking into the donkey cage at the zoo.' I believe the government has already received that message, and as an opposition figure, I’d like to remind Marutyan that donkeys have long been moved out of cages. They have been relocated to open enclosures, where conditions are much more favorable."
