We Must Strengthen the Foundations of the State Together: Minister of Education
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Vahram Dumanyan, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of International Day of Education.
“Dear compatriots, January 24 has been declared International Day of Education by the United Nations to highlight the role of education in achieving global peace and sustainable development. This is a great opportunity once again to strengthen our conviction that education is the foundation for the establishment and empowerment of the state, a crucial prerequisite for the formation of citizens and individuals, and a pillar for having our own place and weight in the world.
One of the state’s priorities is to ensure the right of every member of society to receive education, create appropriate conditions for educators to fully manifest and prepare generations for scientific and ideological advancements, and create prerequisites for mental and spiritual development.
We support each student, learner, young scientist, artist, and athlete in realizing and creating in their respective fields, guaranteeing confidence in the future. High-quality education is the foundation of a prosperous state, requiring dedication, hard work, love, and responsibility, both towards the respective field and towards the country and its people.
And during these difficult post-war days, more than ever, we need to collectively strengthen the foundations of the state—together with teachers, lecturers, scientists, artists, athletes, and coaches—for the sake of the stable and smooth development of our homeland.
I congratulate you on the occasion of International Day of Education, wishing you strength and vigor, faith, and success in your studies,” said the minister's message.
