Russian Military Delegation Arrives in Armenia
On January 25, a delegation led by Colonel General Sergey Istrakov, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, arrived in the Republic of Armenia to participate in staff negotiations on all aspects of Armenian-Russian military cooperation.
On the same day, the head of the delegation was received by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Vagharshak Harutyunyan. A meeting also took place between Sergey Istrakov and General- Lieutenant Onik Gasparyan, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces.
During the meetings, the scope and directions of upcoming work were outlined.
