Over 7,000 Children from Artsakh Continue Their Education in Armenian Schools
Currently, over 7,000 children from Artsakh are continuing their education in schools across Armenia, although this number is subject to change. During a press conference held at the Armenpress press office, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, noted that there is an ongoing process where families are periodically returning to Artsakh.
“From the very beginning, we set a goal that the presence of children’s documents should not be an obstacle for them to study at school. I can say that we are systematically addressing this issue,” said Zhanna Andreasyan.
Regarding providing textbooks for children from Artsakh, the deputy minister mentioned that there has been an agreement from the outset that they must be provided with textbooks in all cases. All other issues are being resolved in cooperation with regional administrations.
