Icy Conditions Reported on Republic's Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. The roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatson region to Amberd Fortress and to the Kari Lake are closed. Additionally, the Vardenyats Pass is closed only for trucks with trailers.

In the Vayots Dzor region, the Chiva-Elpin and Saravan-‘Zanger’ roads, as well as in the Syunik region the Goris-Shurnukh and Sisian-Zanger roads, including the area known as ‘Meghru Sar’, are all affected by icy conditions. The Vanadzor-Dilijan and Martuni-Vardenis roads, along with the Sisian-Goris and Vayk-Saravan roads in Syunik region, are experiencing patches of black ice.

Furthermore, fog is reported in the cities of Masis and Artashat in the Ararat region.
