I Have Addressed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Regarding the Armenian Drivers Attacked in Georgia: Taguhi Tovmasyan
Independent MP Taguhi Tovmasyan has addressed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia regarding Armenian drivers attacked in Georgia. "Following the reports from Armenian drivers of several trucks in the Marneuli and Rustavi regions of the Republic of Georgia, I have just reached out to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazyan. Unfortunately, an unpleasant and dangerous incident has occurred. Apparently, Azerbaijani residents of Marneuli have thrown stones at vehicles with Armenian license plates, shattered the windows of some, and according to the drivers, have created obstacles to their movement. This concerns about a dozen trucks.
I have requested the Minister to issue instructions for an expedited resolution of this issue, ensuring the safe return of vehicles with Armenian license plates to Armenia. We hope that the authorities in Georgia will not leave this crime unpunished," the MP writes on her social media page.
