Artsakh Can Quickly Stand on Its Feet with Increased Involvement of the Diaspora's Socio-Economic Engagement: Mane Tandilyan
Housing construction and job creation in Artsakh is a priority. On the second day of his working visit to Artsakh, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, met with Mane Tandilyan, the Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, and Migration of the Republic of Artsakh.
Today, more than ever, the role of the diaspora in the reconstruction and preservation of Armenian identity in Artsakh is significant. The High Commissioner emphasized the importance of physical connections with Artsakh, visits, and programs for the transfer of development, capacities, skills, and knowledge.
Mane Tandilyan noted that Artsakh could quickly recover with increased social and economic engagement from the diaspora by establishing social enterprises and small businesses, which would make Artsakh self-sufficient.
Agreements were made to continue close cooperation and present the main directions for diaspora involvement in Artsakh.
