Legendary Broadcaster Larry King Passes Away

American television host Larry King has passed away at the age of 87. Margarita Simonyan, the chief editor of RT, announced this on her Telegram channel: "And we have a terrible, terrible loss. Larry King: the main legend of world television, his most famous name, the most famous personality. Delicate, brilliant humor, wonderful. Words are inadequate," she wrote.

On January 3, it was reported that Larry King was hospitalized with a COVID-19 infection. Larry King was well-known for his talk show "Larry King Live," which he hosted from 1985 to 2010. He was also the author of programs for the RT television channel. On May 29, 2013, Larry King sold the rights to his show "Larry King Now" to the Russia Today channel.
