Three Civilian Bodies Found Yesterday; Identities Confirmed
Three civilian bodies were discovered during search and rescue operations yesterday. This was reported today, January 22, by Hunan Tadevosyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Artsakh, in a conversation with NEWS.am.
“One of the civilians is Marine Hayrapetyan from the village of Draxhtik in Hadrut. The other two are residents of the village of Azokh in Hadrut, Serjik Avagyan and Yurik Arushanyan. Their bodies were found in their backyard. A forensic examination has been ordered to determine the cause of death,” Hunan Tadevosyan stated.
A military person's body has been discovered in Jabrayil. His identity is still unknown; however, preliminary information suggests he was from a volunteer unit,” Tadevosyan added.
Currently, one unit is operating in Fizuli and Vorotan, and two are working south of Berdzor in Ishkhanadzor and Aigekhown.
According to Tadevosyan, a total of 1251 bodies of fallen soldiers and civilians have been found so far.
