They Only Think in One Direction: How to Extend Their Power – Tigran Abrahamyan

The head of the Analytical Center 'Henaket', former adviser on security issues to the President of Artsakh, Tigran Abrahamyan, made a Facebook post addressing the expanded session of the Security Council held today under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Arayik Harutyunyan.

The post states: 'Today, an expanded session of the Security Council took place at the Government, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan. Notably, the Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Vitaly Balasanyan, did not attend. If I'm not mistaken, this is the second time the Artsakh Security Council secretary has been absent from such a format of meeting. The official coordinating all security-related issues in Artsakh, the Security Council secretary, is not participating in the meeting, while individuals like Arsen Torosyan, Suren Papikyan, Avinyan, and Ararat Mirzoyan are present.'

'This is everything that needs to be known about the seriousness of the expanded Security Council meetings and the importance of the issues discussed therein. In many respects, just seeing the composition of the participants clarifies where things are headed, the threats to the country, and the security solutions considered. They only think in one direction: how to extend their power at the cost of undermining our national interests and causing maximum damage to Armenia and Artsakh.'
