The Heroic Figure of Archbishop Pargev is a Living Example of Patriotism, Says Grigori Martirosyan

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Minister of Finance Grigori Martirosyan, made a post on his Facebook page stating that the faithful people of Artsakh received with regret the news about Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan's decision to step down from his duties as the leader of the diocese.

“Archbishop Pargev significantly contributed to the spiritual life of newly independent Artsakh after the reopening of the diocese. During the difficult days of war, he safeguarded our spiritual positions and strengthened the army with his prayers. His heroic character is also a living example of patriotism. I extend my deepest gratitude to Archbishop Pargev and wish him health and new achievements for the sake of our country's and people's spiritual security and prosperity,” wrote Grigori Martirosyan.
