The Appointment of the Bishop to Another Position is Due to His Health Condition

The head of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin's information system, Fr. Vahram Melikyan, posted on his Facebook page, stating that Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan will still provide valuable services to our Holy Church and people in his new circumstances.

“In light of the most unimaginable assumptions heard over the past few hours, I feel it necessary to clarify that the Bishop's appointment to another position from the Arkhangelsk Diocese was solely due to his health condition. Let us pray for the Holy Father's health,” wrote Fr. Vahram Melikyan.
