Car Rolls into Aghstev River in Haghartsin, 42-Year-Old Driver Dies

A car rolled off the road and fell into the Aghstev River in the Tavush region, resulting in the driver's death.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a call was received at the regional crisis management center on January 22 at 11:44 AM.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by H.K. (born in 1979), had veered off the road in the Haghartsin area, sliding approximately 6 meters into the ravine and overturning into the Aghstev River.

Using special equipment, the car was retrieved from the river and placed back on the road. Rescuers removed the driver's body from the vehicle and brought it to an ambulance.
