Body of Man Found in Car in Stepanakert with Gunshot Wound to Head

On January 22, 2021, at around 00:05, the body of Arthur Ashoti Apresyan, a 1985-born man from Stepanakert, was discovered in the driver’s seat of a Hyundai parked on Baghramyan Street in Stepanakert. The body exhibited a gunshot wound to the head, and a firearm was found in his right hand. This information was reported by the Artsakh Investigative Committee on their Facebook page.

Authorities arrived at the scene, led by the head of the first investigative department of the Artsakh Investigative Committee’s regional investigative department.

A criminal case has been initiated and accepted for proceeding under Article 109, Part 1 of the Artsakh Criminal Code. Urgent investigative and procedural actions are being conducted as the investigation continues.
