VIDEO: 4.5 km of Road in Shurnukh is Azerbaijani, Says Mikael Melkumyan
The villages of Vorotan and Shurnukh are facing serious issues. This was stated today by MP Mikael Melkumyan during parliamentary briefings, revealing that he visited Syunik Province last week.
"The 12 houses in Shurnukh that have been evacuated are located on the left side of the road, which is considered Azerbaijani territory. Today, Syunik is in danger—various areas, including Shurnukh, are affected. The 4.5 km stretch of road there is Azerbaijani, meaning you enter Azerbaijan and exit from there. You are immediately under fire; Azerbaijani forces are standing 2-5 meters away. I believe that the GPS boundary demarcation processes have introduced serious risks that must be overcome," he said.
