Educational Opportunities in Chinese Universities: Competition Announced

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, in cooperation with the People's Republic of China, has announced a competition for obtaining higher and postgraduate education in China's higher educational institutions under an intergovernmental agreement.

A total of 16 scholarship places are available: 6 for bachelor's degree, 7 for master's degree, and 3 for doctoral programs.

Participants eligible to apply include graduates of secondary schools, vocational educational institutions, and universities in Armenia, as well as students in their final year or course who possess proficiency in foreign languages. Applicants may only apply for one specialty and one degree level.

Document submissions are accepted from January 21, 2020, to February 8, 2020, inclusive, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Those interested in participating in the competition may submit their documents to the External Relations and Diaspora Division of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia (Address: Yerevan, V. The examinations will take place between February 11 and February 19, 2021. The competition will be organized in two phases: a subject examination and an interview. Those candidates who successfully pass will have their education fully funded by the budget of the People's Republic of China.
